Danny Chulack Is an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist in the state of California AMFT 142805 and is under the supervision of Rachel Del Dosso LMFT 111589

Hi, I'm Danny

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who loves assisting kids, teens, and adults with their self-discovery, growth, and healing.

Perhaps you’ve been feeling stuck in this season of life. Maybe you’re want healthier relationships, better communication or guidance and support setting boundaries with friends or family. Or you might need support learning how to manage anxiety in healthy ways and learn healthy coping skills. Or you might be figuring out how to live in a way that feels authentic to you right now. Or, you might be wanting relief from depression. Wherever you're at, I would be honored to assist you in your journey.  I try my best to develop a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship, and my clients have told me how safe they feel with me.

As a therapist, I have seen the power in understanding our thoughts and emotions. Together, we can unravel the complexity of our experiences, and provide you an opportunity for personal development. In our work together I might incorporate a Psychodynamic approach, certain aspects of Internal Family Systems (IFS), and/or Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to create the shifts and changes you want. I also use Brainspotting, a powerful somatic therapy to help resolve traumatic memories and distressing feelings. Brainspotting can also be used to help you lean more into desired states of being like ease, confidence, and joy. Depending on your unique needs, we can discuss the most helpful framework to support you in achieving your goals. I also use art therapy with my clients and have a variety of materials in the office. My supervisor is a Clinical Art Therapist and supports me in using art therapy effectively with my clients.

As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am passionate about providing a safe and affirming space for clients from diverse backgrounds. I know how important this type of support was to me when I was young, and I offer similar support to my queer clients today. If you need a safe space to process your sexuality or gender identity, I am here to support you!

I also recognize the important role that spirituality has for many people and am able to work with clients in a way that respects their belief systems. Sometimes we have questions about our faith or want to explore new spiritual practices. Other times we want to rely on our spirituality for support during tough times. Whatever spirituality looks like for you, I would love to support you in developing a spiritual life that feels authentic to you in this season.

I earned my Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy from Fuller Graduate Schools in Pasadena, CA. I have around a decade’s worth of experience working with young people. Most recently, I saw clients in a school setting, working primarily with Middle and High School students. These experiences have given me a passion for working with young people. If you are a parent of a child or teen who needs support, I am here to help!

Outside of the therapy room I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, taking care of houseplants, eating good food and being outdoors.

Email, text, or call me to set up a complimentary brief phone consultation.

Danny's fees are $150/45 min session and $250/90 min session. He has a limited number of sliding scale spots available.
