A: Ketamine-Assisted Therapy is a therapeutic approach where ketamine is used in a controlled, supportive environment to enhance the healing process for trauma, depression, anxiety, and other emotional challenges. It allows individuals to access deeper parts of their psyche and facilitates emotional breakthroughs under the guidance of an experienced therapist.

A: Ketamine works by altering brain chemistry, increasing neuroplasticity, and helping you access new perspectives on difficult emotions or trauma. It can help you break through emotional barriers, process past wounds, and shift limiting beliefs, all in a safe, guided setting.

A: Yes, you will be prescribed your ketamine by an outside trained, licensed  medical professional who will screen you to make sure you are a good candidate for ketamine assisted therapy. Sessions are conducted in a safe and supportive environment. Ketamine-Assisted Therapy is generally considered safe. I ensure your physical and emotional safety throughout the process, and we tailor each session to your needs

A: Ketamine is self-administered orally through sublingual lozenges or troches that dissolve in your mouth and are absorbed through your mucous membranes.

A: Yes, ketamine can be particularly effective in trauma healing. It creates a unique opportunity for you to safely access and process traumatic memories, reframe them, and create new neural pathways that support emotional resilience and growth.

A: We will go over any questions you have and spend a session discussing your goals and what you would like to get out of your ketamine journey(s). You will set an intention for your first journey. We will also discuss your boundaries around physical touch like holding hands if needed during session.

During your first dosing session, you will review your intention, get grounded and calm before self- administering the medicine.  You will have an eye mask, soft blanket, and headphones with a carefully curated playlist to support your journey. Your therapist will be right by your side the whole time and can hold your hand if desired.  You will likely experience a dissociative dreamlike state with images, colors, emotions, body sensations.

A: The number of sessions varies depending on your goals and individual needs. Some people experience significant shifts after just a few sessions, while others may benefit from ongoing work. The average number of sessions is six. We’ll create a treatment plan together based on what feels right for you.

Meet Rachel

I am passionate about supporting you as you resolve your trauma and come home to yourself. I have experienced firsthand the power of psychedelics in bringing about profound healing and transformation. I’ve witnessed the way these journeys help people overcome difficult experiences and connect with their innate worthiness.

I have been providing Ketamine-Assisted Therapy since 2020 where I initially supported clients who were recieving IV ketamine infusions. Since then, I have supported many people both virtually and in my office for their ketamine journeys.
