Sexual Trauma Recovery
Compassionate support for survivors to heal and reconnect with their sense of safety and self.

Healing from Sexual Trauma
Is a negative experience from the past impacting your sex life now?
Having a hard time letting go of shame or fear?
Do you feel like you’ll never be able to enjoy sex again?
Support for deeper connection, healthy communication, and lasting intimacy
Your body has the ability to heal, and I have seen many of my clients not only recover from PTSD symptoms from sexual trauma, but also reconnect with their bodies and deepen their ability to experience pleasure. I am dedicated to helping clients find the happiness and fulfillment that comes from having a healthy and satisfying sex life.

Don’t want to talk about it? No problem.
We can use somatic therapy methods that don’t require you to describe or recount every detail that still allow you to process the memory and release it from your body.
You can feel safe in your body and experience pleasure again.
Healing is possible, you don’t have to go through this alone.
As a trauma specialist & sex therapist, I have experience helping many people recover from sexual abuse and sexual assault.

Reclaiming Safety and Connection After Sexual Trauma
If you’ve experienced sexual trauma, you may struggle with intrusive images, unwanted body sensations, or reactions that feel out of your control. Maybe certain touches, smells, or situations trigger overwhelming feelings, or you find yourself disconnected from your body during intimacy. These responses are natural and your nervous system has been trying to protect you. Somatic therapy can help you gently reconnect with your body in a way that feels safe, allowing you to release stored trauma and reclaim your sense of self. With the right support, you can move beyond fear and discomfort, rediscover pleasure, and enjoy intimacy on your own terms.
Somatic Therapy Modalities I use to treat sexual trauma:
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) is an evidence- based practice recommended by the World Health Organization as the trauma treatment of choice.
Brainspotting
Is a trauma-focused therapy that uses your eye position to locate and process deeply held emotional and physical distress, guiding you toward healing and integration.
DNMS
Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy) integrates somatic techniques, mindfulness, and relational support to help you safely address unmet childhood needs (for protection, nurturing, connection) and foster lasting emotional resilience.
Art Therapy
Is a creative outlet that allows you to express and process deep emotions, fostering healing and personal insight in a nonverbal way.
